We're Alba and Leanna, not just business partners but kindred spirits with nearly four decades of combined experience leading groups for industry giants. Small Wonders Travel's roots were planted unexpectedly, growing from a fangirl moment nearly ten years ago. An email offering to craft a special tour of Berlin for a beloved podcaster marked the beginning of a journey that has unfolded into something more than we could have ever imagined.

Until 2023, we quietly designed unique tours for larger companies to sell under their labels, as their own. Fueled by the incredible encouragement and unwavering support from our amazing travelers, we are now proudly offering our personally curated trips directly to you.

Drawing on our extensive experience as Tour Directors, Small Wonders Travel diverges from the conventional path. Our journeys are not about checking off must-see lists but about immersive stories that unveil the true essence of destinations –often off the tourist radar. In our pursuit of authenticity, we steer clear of mass tourism, opting for meaningful partnerships with family-owned suppliers.

 

Imagine intimate tours centered around special hotels, unusual sites, and extraordinary culinary experiences. Our commitment to creating personal encounters is reflected in small group sizes –never exceeding 11 people, with an average of 8 and sometimes as small as 5! Solo travelers are integral to our community, and we ensure their adventures are as inclusive as possible.
