We're Alba and Leanna, not just business partners but kindred spirits with almost four decades of combined experience leading groups for industry giants. Small Wonders Travel's roots were planted unexpectedly, growing from a fangirl moment nearly ten years ago. An email offering to craft a special tour of Berlin for a beloved podcaster marked the beginning of a journey that has unfolded into something more than we could have ever imagined.

Up until 2023, our humble company worked quietly behind the scenes, creating unique tours for larger companies' to sell as their own. However, buoyed by the incredible encouragement and unwavering support from our amazing travelers –many of whom have become cherished friends and repeat customers –we've decided to take a more direct and personal route. We are excited to offer our personally curated trips directly to you.

Our extensive experience as Tour Directors, has given us in-depth experience on the conventional routes taken by big companies. However, Small Wonders Travel is a departure from the norm. When you choose to explore with us, it's not about checking off must-see lists. Instead, you'll be part of magical journeys that unfold like stories, revealing the true essence of our destinations –many of which are hidden gems off the radar of most tourists.

In our pursuit of authenticity, we deliberately shy away from mass tourism and typical attractions, choosing to forge meaningful partnerships with family-owned suppliers. Picture this: no crowded attractions or lovelessly prepared meals at group-oriented restaurants, but rather tours crafted around special hotels, unusual sites and extraordinary culinary experiences. Our commitment to creating intimate experiences is reflected in our small group sizes –never exceeding 11 people, with an average of 8 and sometimes as small as 5! Solo travelers are not just welcome; they're an integral part of our community, and we ensure their adventures are as inclusive as possible, with minimal single supplements.
